FPPC

Faculty Personnel Policies Committee responsibilities:

1. Review and recommend policy and procedures relating to faculty personnel issues including evaluation, appointments, promotions, tenure, dismissal, reductions in force, leaves of absence, sabbatical leaves, retirements, employee aid, research grants, special awards or recognition, work loads, salary schedule, increments, and fringe benefits

2. Review and recommend policy and procedures concerning budget priorities and the development of division, campus and college-wide capital and operating budgets.

3. Work with the Budget Advisory Committee and other committees dealing with budget or faculty personnel policy concerns.

4. Review and make recommendations concerning state and federal legislation as it pertains to faculty personnel polices.

5. Conduct research and development in the areas of responsibility outlined above.
